Healing, balance, blessing, connect heart & mind & spirit
-
This is a Tibetan Buddhist Chant. The "Om Ah Hum", the Mantra of Blessing, frequently precedes the recitation of other mantras. The sounds Om, Ah, and Hum are individual Sanskrit seed syllables. It implies a trinity and union of three things. In Buddhism the trinity is that of body (kaya), sound or speech (vak), and Spirit or Mind (citta). The perfect state of being of each of these three bodies is symbolized by the three words of Om Ah Hum. The Body is not only the physical body but also the entire material dimension of the individual. The Sound is the life energy of the body, known as prana. This mantra with hand movements helps connect our heart and mind with spirit.
Notes: Visualize golden light

The HUM symbolizes "Delay no more, my Lord in straightening the paths of the crooked-minded ones." This mantra is used many times in the Ganesha Purana to reduce the violence of cruel demons. In addition, this mantra could also be used for healing any spinal problem, such as curvature of the spine or curved limbs. Dedicate 1,008 repetitions of this holy word to straighten and heal such deficiencies.
