Abhaya Mudra
(Fearlessness and courage)

Fearlessness and courage, symbolizing harmony, strength, and protection. Relaxes the nervous system, reduces stress, and regulates breathing. Induces a sense of safety, reduces anxiety, and builds confidence. Often practiced with Gayatri Mantra recitation.

Sit comfortably with a straight spine.
Raise your right hand to chest level, with the elbow bent and palm facing outward.
Keep the left hand resting on your lap or palm upward.

Gyan Mudra
(Increases mental balance)

Known as the "Seal of Knowledge," this mudra increases mental balance, stimulates intelligence and the mind, purifies the mind, and helps reduce addictive habits. Brings feelings of joy. Helpful during meditation.

Sit in a comfortable meditative pose (e.g., Sukhasana, Padmasana) with a straight back.
Lightly touch the tip of the index finger to the tip of the thumb, creating a circle.
Keep the remaining three fingers straight but relaxed.
Place the hands on the knees with palms facing upward.
(Variation: Raise both hands to sides of head.)
Apply only light pressure.
